On Friday night we decided that we were going to go drink a glass of wine (me, with my diet coke since my mono has been flaring up), and eat a baguette under the Eiffel Tower. We met up with some girls from our program and laid and conversed on the grass that is directly in front of the worldly icon. We had such a fun time just talking, and watching the light show which happens every hour starting at sundown. We were surrounded by Parisians, young and old, and tourists from around the world. We had a magnificent time and this was the first time that it hit me, I'm actually living less than 20 minutes away from this beautiful piece of architecture. I still cannot believe that I am living in Paris, and I don't know if I'm going to fully accept it until I'm on the plane back home. It's all so crazy and surreal...
